Olympian Alex Hua Tian wins CIC* class at Firle Place International Horse Trials
Buckinghamshire-based Chinese Olympian Alex Hua Tian won last weekend’s CIC* class at Firle Place International Horse Trials, beating off stiff competition from local riders Sam Penn and Gemma Tattersall, who came second.
Now in its 37th year, the jam-packed line-up saw 600 horses compete at – dressage, wholesale jerseys showjumping and cross-country on the 5,000-acre estate on Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September.
Alex, who is just 23 years old, achieved an impressive dressage score of 76.5% to lead from the front throughout, despite gathering six faults in showjumping wholesale MLB jerseys and 0.2 cheap jerseys time penalties cheap MLB jerseys cross-country. Alex commented: “Don is too good at jumping to only compete at dressage. He is super cool under pressure and an extremely able horse. As a result of our win, he has now qualified for the CallRecorder World Eventing we Championships for Young Horses at Le Lion d’Angers in France. We’d like to Mal see him competing at Rio in 2016.” Alex added that the horse felina trials at Firle Place were extremely well run. “This is only my second time competing at the estate, ???? last time was in the BE100 class. The new cross-country layout was fantastic. I will definitely be back!”
